the location is spot on, we could walk down to the waterfront n see the cavern club too. breakfast was pretty good, lots of options to choose from and it tasted really nice. our room was comfy with a big bed and it was super dark at night, which helped us sleep great. the reception area looked nice too, gave a welcoming vibe. we liked the fact there was a big bathtub in our bathroom, very relaxing.
but there was no parking at the hotel which was a pain, n the check-in process was slow since there was only one person at the front desk. also, the view from our top floor room was kinda boring.

Mixed feelings after the stay
So we booked 5 rooms, excited for a spa day, only to find it’s not even at the hotel. The staff said treatments were available, but we found out it’s only for certain days. Rooms were decent, but seriously, one tea bag for two people? the pool area was kinda grimy, which was a downer for the price.

Great river view and friendly staff
The highlight of our stay was the stunning river view from our room, which made for a picturesque experience. Additionally, the staff were accommodating and created a welcoming atmosphere throughout our time. However, the hotel's amenities felt somewhat dated and could benefit from a refresh.

We had a lovely time relaxing in the standard room, and the spa facilities were perfect for winding down after a long day. The pool and sauna provided great ways to chill out. The views from our room were lovely. Only downside was the breakfast selection was a bit limited, but it didn’t spoil our overall experience! 😊

missingWrote a review on 17 Julfriendly staffriver viewdisappointing diningbuffet crowd
The staff were friendly, and the river view from the upgraded room was beautiful, making for a lovely atmosphere. the dining experience was disappointing, especially with a buffet crowd overshadowing regular guests, leading me to eat out. A bit more attention to catering would have improved my stay.

missingWrote a review on 16 Julconvenient locationextensive drink menuroom assignment
The location offers easy access to various attractions, making it convenient for exploration. The bar features an extensive drink menu, though the prices are on the high side, like £13 for a pint and a glass of wine.
Multiple guests reported issues with room assignment, often receiving incorrect configurations like double instead of twin setups. Temperature control remains an ongoing concern, with numerous comments indicating rooms are uncomfortably warm or cold without adequate adjustments. Housekeeping inconsistencies emerged, with some rooms featuring cleanliness lapses for a hotel at this standard. Breakfast service lacked efficiency, often resulting in a chaotic experience with replenishment delays, especially during busy periods.
